The family of Mrs. Jan Hodges, 86, will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. A private service will be held later with the Reverend Pete Hawker officiating. Mrs. Hodges passed away on April 12, 2014. Mrs. Hodges grew up in Guntersville where she had many wonderful memories. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Anniston First United Methodist Church. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put others first. She will be missed. Mrs. Hodges is preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Hodges Jr.; her daughter, Mary Hodges Keller; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Albert and a brother, James Albert. Mrs. Hodges is survived by her daughters, Jana Tyson and her husband, Jim, and Judy Fincher and her husband, Mike; four sons, Norwood Hodges III, Rich Hodges and his wife, Cindy, Wade Hodges and his wife, Robbin, and Tim Hodges and his wife, Melissa; a son-in-law, Mark Keller; grandchildren, Todd Tyson and his wife, Emily, Andrew Tyson and his wife, Julie, Susan Graham and her husband, Chuck, Melissa Fincher, Beau Hodges, Cole Hodges, Skyler Keller, Alex Keller, Katherine Keller, Anna Keller, Jackson Hodges, Constance Hodges, Norwood Hodges, Deesa Hodges, Harrison Hodges, and Graham Hodges; great-grandchildren, Logan and Leighton Tyson, Lyla and Caleb Graham and Rebecca Tyson; a special aunt, Martha Jones; a cousin, Prissy Terrell and numerous nieces and nephews.
