I am very saddened by Mr Simmons passing, he would come to see me daily for a visit, give me or come get a Hershey bar, brag about his grandson who he was very proud of. I left my job for about 3 yrs and Mr. Simmons had the social worker send a card or letter to me to keep in touch. When I returned to my former job at Golden Living, he was excited to see his old friend as was I to see him. Dementia took its toll, but he still remembered the people that loved him. All my deepest sympathies and love to your family. Judy Mathews Social Worker, Diversicare of Oxford.
