Lorraine ( Cash) Davis

Funeral service for Lorraine Cash Davis, 84, of Jacksonville formerly of Anniston, will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service with the Rev. Levi Lyles Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis died Friday morning at Stringfellow Hospital. Survivors include daughter, Linda Finley Griffin and husband, Tom of Jacksonville; grandsons, Thomas Griffin III and wife, Kelly of Hancock MI, and Frank Griffin of Jacksonville; brothers, Ray Cash and wife, Charlotte of Alexandria, and John L Cash and wife, Shirley of Oxford; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Griffin, Mimi Griffin, T.J. Griffin IV, Ashleigh Griffin, Malachi Griffin, and Annalynn Griffin all of Hancock MI; godsons, Captain Darrell Lyles and Captain Derrick Lyles of Anniston and numerous nieces, nephews and friends including "special daughter and son" Wanda and Levi Lyles Jr. of Anniston and "special niece" Wanda Cody of Jacksonville. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eula Moses Cash; brothers, Bill Cash and Clyde Cash, and sister, Mary Cash Jones. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, and attended Alexandria High School. She retired from Chicopee Manufacturing. Mrs. Davis loved bowling and playing bingo, she was blessed with a close family and many wonderful friends in her life and will be missed greatly.
