Mary Maurine "Muffet" Glass

Graveside service for Mary Maurine "Muffet" Glass, 72, of Anniston will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Edgemont Cemetery with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Survivors include her sister, Beth Glass Trotman, of Decatur, Ga.; brother-in-law, Thomas S. Campbell, of Decatur, Ga. and a number of cousins. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Ms. Glass is preceded in death by her parents, Millard William Glass and Mary Maurine Potter. Ms. Glass was a native of Anniston, Ala. and a longtime resident of Anniston. She was a graduate of Judson College. She served for several years as a youth director in churches in Anniston and in Enterprise, Ala. and at Eastern Kentucky State University. Later, back in Anniston, she worked at Disciple's Book Store in Saks, at a health services company and in food service. Ms. Glass was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church.
