Raymond Rollins

Funeral services for Raymond Rollins, 94, of Heflin, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with the Rev. Franklin McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Mr. Rollins passed away Thursday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Joan Rollins, of Heflin; daughters, Beatrice Greene and Charlotte Cagle, both of Anniston; his son, Stanley Rollins (Elaine), of Talladega; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six stepchildren; six step great-grandchildren; a sister, Odell LeCroy (Cecil), of Heflin and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rollins is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mary Rollins; his first wife, Ruth McCormick Rollins; son-in-law, Curtis Greene and grandson, Billy Greene. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Rollins was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He retired from Samson Cordage and was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also an avid gardener. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
