Sarah Ann Nabors

Graveside service for Sarah Ann Nabors, 78, of Anniston will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014, 11:30 a.m. at Whites Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Truman Norred will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Ms. Nabors passed away on Sunday at her residence. Survivors include her daughters, Lindy Brooks (Richard), Dianell Butt (Steve), Patricia Cruse (Phil); sisters, Bonnie Clark, Jackie McMurry; brothers, Jody Copper (Vicki), and Richard Cooper (Dainne); grandchildren, Tammy Daniel, Tabitha Bowman, Chris Butt, Nathan Butt, Matthew Butt, Steven Cruse (Leslie); 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Chris Butt, Nathan Butt, Matthew Butt, Steven Cruse, Kyle Cruse and Phil Cruse. Ms. Nabors was a resident of Anniston. She loved her family and her church family very much. She was a member of Blue Mountain Baptist Church. Ms. Nabors enjoyed reading her bible, gardening, walking and know to be a very giving person as in always helping others. Ms. Nabors was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Waites, mother, Louise Cooper, and step father, Dewey Cooper, brother, Sonny Waites, and a sister, Judy Cooper. The family request that in place of flowers that donations may be made to Blue Mountain Baptist Church.
