Funeral service for William Thomas "Bill" Saxon Sr, 80, of Anniston, will be Thursday, September 18, 2014, 2 p.m. at Word Alive International Out Reach Church in Coldwater. The Rev. Kent Mattox and the Rev. Dan Mattox will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Saxon passed away on Monday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Saxon; daughter, Sharon Noell; son, William Thomas "Tom" Saxon Jr; five granddaughters; three great grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter. I am shocked, sad and sorry to hear this! When I hugged Bro. Saxon's neck at church Sunday, I never thought it would be the last time. I will always remember him helping me keep the pool clean and putting new locks on the doors at the Riverside house. He will be missed!
