Marietta, GA - Mr. Billy Glenn Collier, 86, of Marietta, Georgia, died Sunday, November 18, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home with Dr. Rusty Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Collier was a retired engineer with Georgia Public Service. He was a U. S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 29. Mr. Collier attended Christ Lutheran Church in Marietta. He is survived by his wife, Selma J. Collier of Marietta, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Robert G. and Rebekah Collier, of Woodstock, Ga.; stepsons, Charles J. Boucher, of Australia, James M. Boucher, of Acworth, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy S. Collier and Robert Tolton, of Marietta, Ga., Sandra J. and Timothy Collier, of Ellenwood, Ga.; stepdaughter, Shelly M. Van Pelt, of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two nieces. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012, at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770)424-4924.
