Funeral service for Joseph E. Warren, 85, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Jeff Brassart and the Rev. Scotty Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at the funeral home. Mr. Warren passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at RMC. Survivors include two daughters, Paula (Paul) Goulet, of Pell City and Pam (Jeff) Brassart, of Madison; grandsons, Paul Joseph (Tiffani) Goulet and Christopher Goulet; granddaughters, Erin Boswell (Brad) and Amiee Brassart; great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Grace Goulet, Rosemary Elizabeth Goulet and Claire Elizabeth Boswell; brother, James A. Warren (Phyllis), of Boca Raton, Fla.; brother-in-law, Charles A. Moon (Gayle), of Westerville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Nellie F. Plunkett, of Anniston and 14 nieces and nephews. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Pauline M. Warren; parents, Jack Nelson Warren and Myrtle Mae Warren; brothers, Jack N. Warren and Jerre R. Warren. Mr. Warren was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
