Homegoing celebration for Mr. Abram Harris Jr., who passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, will be held Saturday May 17, 2014, at 2 p.m. Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, Fla. the Rev. Michael Neely officiating. Interment will follow. Abram Harris Jr. was born February 5, 1950 to the late Abram and Willie Mae Harris in Anniston, Alabama. He loved to fish, hunt, play chess and basketball. He also loved going on family vacations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abram and Willie Mae (Latham) Harris and brother, Ronald F. Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Darris (Green) Harris; children, Marsha L. Morman (Mike), Abram Harris III (Trina), Theresa Harris, Jarbar C. Harris and f Gilyard; step-daughters, Dessiree Green, Maya Burton, Lakeisha Mason and Patina Green; grandchildren, Sharonda V. Harris, Diquan T. Harris, Marcus J. Morman, Abriana Welch, Malik J. Harris and Donterrious M. Jefferson; brother, Abram Earl Horne; sisters. Dorothy A. Harris, Grace L. Grant and Romena Almond and best friend, Barbara J. Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.
