Oxford - Funeral services for Deacon A.D. Truss, 84, will be at noon on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Ceary Embry officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery. Deacon Truss remains will arrive at the chapel one hour prior to his services. A wake will be to 6-8 tonight at the chapel. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Truss; son, Andrew (Michelle) Truss, of Bolingbrook, Ill.; daughter, Cynthia (Lyndale) Stargell, of Douglasville, Ga.; siblings, Cathel Dowdle, Annie Lee Phillips, both of Anniston, Mary (Charles) Gage, Milton Truss, both of Lansing, Mich.; in-laws, Mildred Truss, Maxine Ervin, Beverly Vassor Ervin, and Norvin Ervin; grandchildren, Anton, Andre, Ayaba, Lee and Kayla; great-grandchildren, Mia, Colby, McKensi, and Myles; other relatives and friends.
