Funeral service for Ada Bell Ross, 84, will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at noon at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Titus Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Ross passed away on August 26, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. Family visitation will be 5-7 this evening at the chapel. Mrs. Ross' remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Ross graduated from Calhoun County Training School in 1953, also Harry M. Ayers Technical College. She retired after 35 years of service at Anniston Memorial - RMC. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her children, Carol R. Hobbs (Heflin Thomas), Patricia R. (David) Williams, Heidiemarie Ross, Stanley L. Ross Sr. (Tranita Buggs); 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; nine great-great- grandchildren; in laws; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mackleroy and Bera Jones Turner; husband, William Ross Jr.; son, William V. Ross; siblings, Elmira Watta, B.R.
