Funeral service for Albert Lee Satcher Sr., 64, will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at noon at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Phillips officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in New Mt. Liberty Cemetery. Mr. Satcher's remains will arrive at the church two hour prior to his services. A wake will be this evening 6-8 p.m. at the Chapel. Mr. Satcher passed away on April 10, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Satcher served in the U.S. Marines Corp and was last employed by the U.S. Postal Service of Atlanta, Ga. Survivors include his mother, Nellie R. Satcher, of Anniston; his children, Albert (Fabiola) Satcher Jr., of St Louis, Mo., Malikah Satcher, of Huntsville, Cassandra Jones, of Cleveland, Ohio, Thomas (Tiffany) Young, of Anniston; siblings: Audrey (Robert) Kenney, of Weaver, Marilyn S. Ashley, of Anniston, Pamela Lowery, of Jackson, Miss., Clarence W. Satcher, of Morrow, Ga., Melvin (Sandra) Satcher, of Montgomery, Ala., Douglas (Linda) Satcher, of Riverdale, Ga.; grandchildren, Bryant Jones, Jamaya M. Carrithers, Kenley A. Satcher, Kaydence C. Glover; special friend, Dorothy Satcher; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Satcher Sr.; son, Kelvin Satcher.
