Funeral service for Mr. Alfred Eugene Johnson, 79, of Anniston will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, at 12 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Reaves, and Bro. David Tankersley officiating with burial to follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Visitation will Friday from 10-12 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Johnson passed on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at RMC in Anniston. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Johnson; sons, Steve Johnson, Keith (Becky) Johnson and Randy (Buffie) Johnson; sister, Mary Ann Harbeston; grandchildren, Beth, Scott, Matt, Mandy, Misty, Derrick, Kevin, and Ashley; six great-grandchildren; four nieces; and one nephew. Pallbearers will be Chris White, Lin Bridges, Milton Harris, Jim Brown, Earl Comer and Milton Daugherty. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lela Johnson; brother, Dewey Wayne Johnson; and his four legged friend, "Cinnamon". Mr. Johnson was retired from Lee Brass after 57 years of service. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where he was in the God's Grace Sunday School Class. He served on the Board of Directors of Brassies Credit Union for many years. Mr. Johnson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
