Alice Edwina Ray Hall, 68, of Huntsville went home the Lord on March 7, 2015 after a valiant fight against multiple myeloma cancer. Edwina was born on August 28, 1946 in Jacksonville, Ala. and was the daughter of Edwin and Alice Ray, of Jacksonville. She was married to Ron Hall for 39 years. He was the love of her life. They were members of the Faith Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Edwina graduated from Jacksonville High School completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and her master degree from Jacksonville State University. She was an educator and taught science in the Huntsville City Schools. Edwina loved her family, friends and Lord deeply. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her husband, Ronald Cullens Hall; brother, Jeff Ray, of Birmingham; daughters, Jennifer Hall McFadden, Heather Hoffman (Craig) Cabaniss, of Orlando, Fla.; granddaughter, Catherine Cabaniss, of Orlando, Florida; nephew, Stephen Hall, of Columbus, Miss.; Hamric and Ray; numerous cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gene Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
