Memorial service for Alline Bedwell Mobley, 67, will be Friday, December 23, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. David Ingram and Stephen Ingram officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from noon until time of service. Mrs. Mobley passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at her home. Survivors include her children, Sandy Mobley and Kenneth Mobley, both, of Spring Garden; three grandchildren, Tiffany Spivey (Coty), Thomas Mobley and Robyn Gorham; two great-grandchildren, Chris Spivey and Gracie Spivey; three sisters, Myrtice Rainey, of Piedmont, Ann Burgess (James), of Saks and Elaine Ingram (David), of Spring Garden; one brother, Hugh Bedwell (Shirley), of Piedmont; a special niece Madison Brown; special nephews, Evan Smyth, Bradley Smyth and Wyatt Graham, and several other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mobley was a resident of Spring Garden and a member of the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene. She was a former employee of Springs and was a life long Crimson Tide fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mobley and a niece, Kim Brown. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
