A Memorial Service for Mr. Andrew "Andy" Russell Picton, 45, of Oxford, will be at 11 am on Friday, January 12, 2018 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Garry Ragsdale officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Picton passed away on January 8, 2018. Mr. Picton graduated as a Registered Nurse from Jacksonville State University and went on to receive his Master's Degree with honors from The University of Alabama at Huntsville. He was a nurse practitioner with Alabama Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants in Anniston. Mr. Picton was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church and had also attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Faith Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, culinary arts, working out, and coaching youth football and baseball. His pride and passion in life were his children and watching them enjoy life to the fullest. Bella was his sunshine; Cohen was his athlete; and Carter was his musician. Mr. Picton is surived by his wife, Kimberly McGathy Picton; a daughter, Isabella Jewel Picton; two sons, Carter Russell Picton and Cohen Zane Picton; his parents, Kenneth and Boong Cha Picton; sister, Elizabeth Picton Wise and her husband, Ronald F. Wise; a niece, Layna Elizabeth Wise; a nephew, Landon Noah Wise; and his grandmother, Pearle Welch. Online condolences may be made to the family at K.L.
