Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Angeline Collins Parker will be held today, October 3, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Ohatchee First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Taylor officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Our Heavenly Father made an earthly call on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at the University Hospital (UAB), Birmingham. Mrs. Angeline Parker answered the Master's call home to Glory. Mrs. Parker was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Desque and Ethel Whisenant Collins on March 14, 1937, in Calhoun County, Alabama. She leaves to cherish many memories, her husband of 54 years, Isiah J.L. Parker; two children, Kimberly (Frederick) Sutton, of Powder Springs, Ga., and Mesha Parker, of Ohatchee; three grandchildren, Katisha Sutton, Zinitra Sutton, both of Powder Springs, Ga., and Jaylaan Parker, of Ohatchee; one great-grandchild, Kaiden Sutton, of Birmingham; her God-daughter, Candricka (Daron) Sutton, of Birmingham; two God- grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob Sutton, of Birmingham; one sister, Eva Traynham, of Douglasville, Ga.; one step-brother, David Collins, Augusta, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Minnie (Daniel) Nolan, of Anniston; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends, all of whom she loved and were a precious part of her life.
