The funeral service for Miss Angelynn Elize Luckado, 15, will be at 4 p.m. today, March 14, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church, 2650 McIntosh Rd. Oxford, AL 36203 with Scott Smith and Matt Coby officiating. Burial will follow at Munford Municipal Cemetery. Angelynn passed away on March 11, 2017 at UAB Hospital. Angelynn attended Munford High School and was a member of the Archery Team. She loved school, reading, and was a straight A student. She was also an AKC Junior Handler, loved her 80's rock music and puzzles. She attended Antioch Baptist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church. Angelynn was the inspiration for Angelynn and Courtney's Law which was passed in June 2016. She loved to hit a target and loved her family. Angelynn is survived by her mother, Dovie M. Luckado, of Munford; her father and step mother, Brandon and Tara Luckado, of Anniston; a sister, Rebecca Luckado, of Munford; grandparents, Angel and Gary Carter, of Munford, Anthony and April Creed, of Las Vegas, Nev., Michael and Elizabeth Luckado, of Weaver, Butch and Lesia Vandiver, of Saks, and Terry and Sherri Fields, of Saks; great-grandparents, Addie Mae Light, of Oxford, Lucky and Dorothy Luckado, of Westmoreland, Tenn., Julia Geier, of Saks, Helen Robinson, of Saks, and Mollie Brasher, of Saks; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be firefighters, Marty Carter, Sam Hazle, Jimmy Slick, Lamon Heard, Jason Brown, Adam Taylor, Michael Payne and Brian Bunn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alabama Organ Center 502 20th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233 (www.alabamaorgancenter.org), or the Alabama Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 200 Office Park Drive, Suite 115, Birmingham, AL 35223 (www.cff.org).
