Funeral service for Armor Jean McGhee Gray, 73, will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church where the Rev. Carlton Phillips is pastor, with Bishop Dexter Elston officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Gray passed away on March 21, 2014. Mrs. Gray graduated from Cobb High School in 1959. Her last place of employment was Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her sons, Ralph Jr. (Sherry) Gray, Marion (LaJuan) Gray, of Knoxville, Tenn., Chandler (Shanderico) Gray; daughters, Belinda Reeves and Pamela (John) Nolley; special nephews, Chris and Zeno Elston; grandchildren, Quinten, Antonio, Shamicka, Lawrence, Jeremy, Steve, Marion, Robert, Destiny, Chances, Idea, Jewels, Alyssa, Madison, Keyiona, Dennis, Jacquell, Te'Aina, Regina and Reginald; 23 great- grandchildren; sisters, Ovetta (Luther) Owens, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Dorothy (Gregory) Lamar, of Hillside, Ill., Mary Jones and Flouzetta White, of Anniston; sister-in-law, Margaret Johnson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Onetha McGhee; husband, Ralph James Gray Sr.; siblings, Marion McGhee, Eugene McGhee Jr., Eloise O'neal and Lauretta Goodson.
