A memorial service for Mr. Arthur 'Art' Hilliker, 68 of Alexandria, will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 6:00pm at Alexandria Valley Church of God with Bishop Byron Duke officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the church. Mr. Hilliker passed away on December 10, 2017 at Stringfellow RMC. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jessica Bouchard (Max) and Jennifer Moody (John); eight great grandchildren; step daughter, Marcia Mundy; siblings, Jerry Hilliker, Jeff Hilliker, Judy Wachob, Janet Morrison, and a host of extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Maxine Hilliker; wife, Sylvia E. Hilliker; daughter, Sonia Hilliker and sister, Janie Coward. Mr. Hilliker retired proudly from the US Army as a staff sergeant after 23 years of service and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a loving and caring husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing them.
