Anniston - Mrs. Barbara Deese, 68, of Anniston, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Deese was a native of Illinois and worked as an operator for DeltaCom. She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Deese; and by her parents, John and Mary Peek. Survivors include her sons, Ron Venute, John Deese and his wife, Cindy, Jason Deese and Brandon Deese; grandchildren, London and Logan Deese; and sister, Carolyn Muscanero.
