Funeral service for Barbara R. Clayton, 72, will be on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Hobson City FEMA Building with Bishop Billy R. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Hobson City Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Clayton remains will arrive at the FEMA Building one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Clayton passed away on August 7, 2014 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Clayton retired from Oxford School System, after retirement she was a Poll Watcher and Chaplain for RMC. Survivors include husband, Pastor Artis R. Clayton Sr.; her children, Artis (Jacquelyn) Clayton Jr., Kayley Clayton; grandchildren, Emanuel (Erin); Joshua; Zachary; Jacquice Davis and Jalisah Jones; great-grandchildren, Ciara , Jayden, Armani, and Elijah Clayton; her siblings, Carzelle (Sarah) Madden, Clara Miller, Mack (Quinell) Madden, Ola Mae Flanagan, Pamela Madden, Donald Harris, Kenneth "Kenny" Madden, James (Seleseste) Madden and Elton (Octavia) Madden; adopted daughter, Brenda Robinson; in-laws, Verneeda sister, Geneva Clayborn, May Lou LittleJohn, James (Rose) Haynes other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Katie Montgomery; sons, Artis-Steven Clayton, Antonio Clayton; brother, Claude Madden.
