Born in Anniston to James Lewis and Cora Rebecca Talley, she lived most of her life in Anniston and Lincoln. Bettie was a sweet, sassy and fun-loving lady. She had a joyful smile that could light up a room and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She loved arts and crafts and in her younger years owned and operated craft shops in Oxford, and later, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Bettie was devoted to her late husband, ex POW and WWII veteran, James O. Moore. Together, they were very involved in veterans' affairs and active in the Cheaha Chapter of the American Ex-Prisoners of War national organization. Bettie was also very devoted to her family. She is survived by her two sons, Dennis Craig and his wife, Gayla and Barry Craig and his wife, Elise; her daughter, Karen Hentschel; six grandchildren, Heather Bryant and her husband, Greg, Heidi Luallen and her husband, Jamey, Anna Elise Craig, Claire Craig, Lauren Hentschel and Dougie Hentschel; four great-grandchildren, Joshua Bryant, Hannah Bryant, Jonathan Bryant and Cameron Vogler; her sister, Gail Lovvorn; three brothers, Jimmy Talley, David Talley, and Randall Talley, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; three sisters, Lucille Tipton, Mary Mullinax, and Faye Crawford; and three brothers, Homer Talley, John Talley, and Thomas "Ted" Talley. Pallbearers will be Joshua Bryant (great-grandson), Jerry Mullinax (nephew), Scott Smith (nephew), Warren Talley (nephew), Jay Woodrow (great-nephew), and Kevin Woodrow (great-nephew).' Special thanks to her many encouragers and caregivers, including niece, Judy Woodrow, sister, Gail Lovvorn, daughter-in-law, Gayla Craig, and the wonderful doctors and nurses at Pell City St. Vincent's Hospital and Pell City Alacare.
