Funeral service for Betty Ann Kirksey, 66, will be on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Standford officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kirksey passed away on March 31, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Kirksey's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Survivors include her husband, Lewis L. Kirksey Sr.; her children, Arnold (Angela), of Saks, Lewis Jr. (Delois), of Temple, Ga., Titus (Linda), Sherry and Pam, all of Anniston, Byrn (Tamika), of Weaver; 23 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren; siblings, Juluis (Charolette), of Boston, Mass., Lovell (Loretta) and Louis (Stephanie) Groce, all Gadsden, Kennie Groce and Thomas (Carolyn) Groce, of Anniston, James (Elaine) Fomby, Milton (Sharon) Fomby, Shirley (Richard) George, April (Eddie) Wright, Anita (Jerry) Green and Grenstine Newborn, all of Lincoln, Larry Groce, of Talladega, Rosie Kirksey, of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Ora Lee Thornton and Cornelia McGown; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Fomby and Fannie Bell Groce; daughter, Benita Kirksey; granddaugher, Neshoun Kirksey; siblings, Dollie Mae Groce, Jeffery Dean and Jerry Lee Groce.
