Mrs. Betty Goble Callahan, 81, of Anniston, gained her heavenly wings on October 1, 2017. Funeral service will be 2 pm today at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Robert Hall, Rev. Billy Goble and Rev. Nicholas Goble officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 12 - 2 at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Olivas (Charlie), Jean Brown (Don) and Brenda Callahan, sons, Ray Goble (Susie), Jerry Goble (Debbie), Billy Goble (Elizabeth) and Ken Goble (Tina), 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Ann Simmons, brothers, Leroy Sellers, Jay Sellers and Marshall Sellers. Mrs. Callahan is preceded in death by her husbands, William Morris Goble and Artie Callahan, parents, Roy and Lillie Sellers and several sisters. Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Dylan Brown. Jeremy Goble, Shannon Laney, Brandon Goble and Logan Goble. Mrs. Callahan was a native of Texas and a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Callahan loved her children and church family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, devout Christian who loved her lord and savior.
