Funeral service for Betty Jo Beason, 75, of Anniston, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Gray Brown Service Chapel with Dr. Randy Postell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Beason passed away on Tuesday at RMC. Survivors include her husband, Clyde Beason, of Anniston; daughter, Pam Beason Williams (Jay), of Anniston; son, Travis Beason (Terri), of Weaver; sister, Sarah Ann Holland (Tommy), of Madison Heights, Mich.; four grandchildren, Candy Brotherston, Brittany Pruitt, Sidney Cook and Misty Beason; one great-grandson, Ryan Brotherston. Mrs. Beason is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mandy Beason; parents, W.R. and Mary Ann Butler; and 13 brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Lamar Maddox, Bill Brotherston, Andy Pruitt, Wayne Johnson, Luke Smallwood and Adam Cook. Mrs. Beason was a native of Heflin and a resident of Anniston since 1971. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks and the Swinging Stars Square Dancing Club. Mrs. Beason retired as a lunchroom worker at Weaver High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Alacare Health Care.
