Funeral service for Mrs. Billie N. Andrews, age 81, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Reverend William Cain officiating and burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Mrs. Andrews passed away on September 9, 2017 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna (John) Whatley of Leeds, AL and Diane (Dennis) Christopher of Jacksonville, AL; four grandchildren, Amber Christopher, Ashlon C. (Lee) Dempsey, Oakley W. (Matt) Luker, and Grace D. Whatley; 5 great grandchildren, Brayden, Parker, and Aaron Dempsey, Anna and Whatley Luker; two sisters, Cleste N. (Leroy) Braxdale and Melba N. Maxwell; one brother, Marvin (Peggy) Norris; numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Terrell Andrews, Brayden Dempsey, Lee Dempsey, Randy Harcrow, Dr. Phillip Maxwell and Steve Tillison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Butch Cross, Parker Dempsey and Aaron Dempsey. Mrs. Andrews was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her parents, Toney O. Norris and Nina J. Norris; her husband, Harold H. "Tooney" Andrews; two sisters, Mildred N. Beach and Bobbie N.
