Mr. Billy Keasler, 74, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at his residence. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday July 30 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Redding and the Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers include Doug Minshew, Clint Bradley, Tim Deaton, Chad Walker, Michael Walker, Todd Keasler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Witcher and McCord Crossroads Fire Dept. Survivors include his wife, Ann O'Neal Keasler; sons, Brett (Robin) Keasler, of Centre, Tim (Stefanie) Keasler, of Rome, Ga., Shane (Cathy) Keasler, of Dothan; daughter, Betty Ann (Nick) Arkontaky, of Anniston; brother, Jerry (Peggy) Keasler, of Spring Garden; sister, Shirley (Mark) Dawson, of Centre; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; loving caretaker, Cheryl McCellan; special friends, Jim Burke, Rita Childers; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Keasler, brother, Bunk Keasler. Mr. Keasler was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late William Darnell and Winnie Jewel Keasler and was of the Baptist faith. Perry Funeral Home is directing.
