Funeral service for Mr. Billy Ray Paris, 68, of Anniston and formerly of Eastaboga, will be Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Holcomb and nephew, David Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Visitation will be 1:30 until 3 p.m. the same day. Mr. Paris passed on January 21, 2014, at RMC. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sue Paris; children, Stanley Paris, Shane (Leigh) Paris and Jennifer (Bobby) Pearson; grandchildren, Kayla "Bug" Pearson, Taylor "Fluffy" Paris and her mother; Martha and Lexie Weidner; father, Tommie Paris; sister, Rebecca (Robert) Parton; several nieces and nephews and several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Mr. Paris is preceded in death by his mother, Clessie Paris; infant son, Greg Pari; brother, Thomas Howard Paris and a sister, Edna Ruth Paris. Pallbearers will be Phil Hagan, Chris Hagan, Kevin Thompson, Glen Haynes, Jamie Lewis and Stacey Renfroe. Mr. Paris dedicated his whole life to his family. He was always involved with his children's lives by being active in school originations like the PTO. He spent several years coaching little league sports in Bynum. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church but attended First Baptist at McClellan and Life Church. He was a very devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.
