Anniston - Graveside service for Blondell Robinson Hollingsworth, 95, of Anniston, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Forestlawn Gardens. Mr. David Hodnett will officiate. The family will receive friends tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by one daughter, Sue Adcock and husband John of Anniston; three granddaughters, Angela Dickert and husband Michael of Oxford, Tracey Jones of Anniston and Holli McCullough and husband Richard of Lincoln, and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a native of Georgia, but she spent most of her adult life in Anniston. She attended Garner Nursing School, and after graduation she met and married her husband, Ralph Hollingsworth. The two of them owned and operated Hollingsworth Jewelry Co. on 9th and Noble St. for over 50 years. She thoroughly enjoyed helping Ralph in that capacity, but her first love was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she was dearly loved by all. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Anniston where she served in many capacities. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Presbyterian Children's Home in Talladega or to
