Funeral service for Mr. Bobby Dunston, will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Vic Freeman officiating. A visitation will be held from 11-1 p.m. on the same day. Mr. Dunston passed away at his home on August 17, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Dunston; son, Scott Dunston; grandchildren, Crimson Dunston, Summer Dunston, Brittany Mulkey; sisters, Glenda Coppock(Kenneth), Wanda Castleberry (Eddie), Joyce Gibson, Barbara Lee Higginbotham; brother, Eddie Wayne Dunston (Patsy); brother and sister in laws, Ronnie and Brenda Helms, Terry and Kathy Helms, Danny and Shirley Helms, Paul and Denise Helms, Wanda and Steve Allen; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, YZ and Gladys Dunston; brother and his wife, Leon and Katie Dunston, Jackie Dunston and sister, Marie Bricker. Mr. Dunston was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He served his country proudly in the Air Force. He worked in carpentry for most of his life. Mr. Dunston was a very diligent worker and is known by his jokes and sense of humor.
