Funeral service for Bobby Eugene Rowe, 71, will be on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Sunlight Baptist Church with the Rev. Manual Smith IV officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunlight Church Cemetery. Mr. Rowe passed away on November 3, 2015. Mr. Rowe's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Rowe served as Deacon, church clerk, Sunday School teacher, Mid week Bible study teacher, youth teacher and Usher at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bonderie; children, Shannon (Shalonda) Rowe, Regina Rowe, Kristy Rowe, Shavonne Rowe; grandchildren, Terry, Kiara, Myiesha, DeShawn, Jordan, Gabriella, Kristyn, Kaydence and Kayden Rowe; siblings, Mattye B. Franklin, Mary A. (Walter) Wilson, Mary H. White, Robert Rowe, Jean C. (James) Moore, Josephine Boyd, Frankie Rowe, Marion Mickler, Charles (Monica) Rowe, Jerome (Liz) Rowe and Milton Rowe; mother-in-law, Harriett Gover; in-laws, Sandra White, Twanda (Fred) Henderson and Donald E. (Myrtis) Moss; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Zelma Rowe; grandson, Camran J. Ellington; siblings, Michael Rowe, Annie P. My sincere condolences to all of you. I'm sad but also glad because he no longer suffers and he's gone on to be with his king. Mr. Bobby was a good man, husband, a good father, and grandfather. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. I myself will always remember his smile and his good heart.
