Memorial service for Bobby R. Wilkins Jr. will be Thursday, September 8, 2016, 2 p.m. at Iron City Baptist Church. The Rev. Cody Hale will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Wilkins passed away on Sunday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Wilkins; daughters, Mindi Amberson (Justin), Tamara Hall (David) and Bobbie Wilkins; mother, Marie Wilkins; brother, William Wilkins; sister, Del Lewis; grandchildren, Kaiden Rutledge, JJ Rutledge, KateLynn Hall, Kaylee Hall, MaKaiyah Amberson, David Aziah Amberson, Addyson Amberson and Shiloh Amberson, and nephew, Justin Lewis. Mr. Wilkins was a resident of White Plains. He was a member of Iron City Baptist Church, were he served as a Sunday school teacher and had a heart for missions. He was retired as an Air Traffic Controller. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Wilkins was preceded in death by his father, Bobby R Wilkins Sr, and a grandson, Hunter Hall.
