Mr. Bobby W. Freeman, 79, passed away on February 28, 2017 at his home. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Rebecca Freeman; children, Kelley Freeman and Cooper Freeman (Amanda); grandchildren, Austin Freeman, Brooklyn Johnson (Brett Johnson), Jordan Gortney, Drew Gortney, Laykin Colgrove, Ryleigh Colgrove and Austin Gregory; two great- grandchildren, Amberly Johnson and Neely Johnson. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Gortney, and a grandson, Joshua Atteberry. Mr. Freeman was a 1956 graduate of Oxford High School. He was a Calhoun County Basketball Tournament MVP in 1956 where he has the high school record of 96 points scored in 3 games. He loved fast pitch softball, fishing for brim, playing golf with his lifelong friend, Donald Guin, and working out at DynaBody Gym with friends and his family. His top priority though, was talking to others about Jehovah God's Kingdom and what was written in the Holy Scriptures. Mr. Freeman was a gentle giant and was loved by everyone he met. He will be deeply missed! A memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home 256-831-4611
