Funeral service for Booker Sampson Jr., 83, will be on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Hugh Morris, officiating and the Rev. Benjamin Little, eulogist. Interment with military honors will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Sampson passed away on July 9, 2015. Mr. Sampson's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to his service. Mr. Sampson retired from the United States Army and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Survivors include his daughter, Tanja C. Sampson and granddaughter, Misha K. Sampson both of St. Louis; his siblings, Ida Sampson, of Evergreen, Ala., Jettie Mae Johnson, of Jackson, Ala., Ollie Burrell Mapp, of Hempstead, N.Y., and Eddie (Barbara) Sampson, of Columbus, Ga.; dear friend, Carrie Hutchinson, of Anniston; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Booker Sr. and Pheban Burpo Sampson; siblings, Minnie Law, David Lee Sampson and Arthur Lee Sampson. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
