Betty is survived by her sons, Sam (Julie) Foster, of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Stuart Foster, of Anniston; her grandchildren, Laura Ashley Heath and Austin Blake Foster, both of Anniston, and Leslie Ann Howell, of Lincoln; and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Foster and T.D. Summers. Betty was born on April 11, 1935 in Foss (Sapulpa, OK) to Opal and Phil Bradley. Betty was accomplished at teaching, mentoring and leading by example. She was a passionate individual who loved sports, music and the all-round shaping of youth, not only her children and grandchildren, but children in the community as well. She volunteered as a softball coach for girls in the Saks area, sponsored sports teams in the Anniston and Northeast Alabama area, and let her sons play live rock-n-roll music with bands in her living room! She was an active and dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Saks from the early 1960's until the early 1980's.
