Survivors include his parents, Pat and Bryan Thrasher Sr.; sister, Lisa Thrasher Cranford; brother, Jason Thrasher; nephew, Tanner Cranford; niece, Taylor Cranford Gillaspie (J.R.); 5 great nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, his fur baby and constant companion Abby; and a group of special friends he called his tribe. Bryan was a 1981 graduate of Wellborn High School. He attended Jacksonville State University and retired with the State of Georgia. He was an avid Alabama Football supporter, a lover of art, antiques, music and people. He staunchly supported equal rights for all people regardless of race, gender, or orientation. He stood strongly and proudly behind the causes he believed in. Bryan understood and practiced the notion of unconditional love, that was reflected in his many and varied friendships. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to and in keeping with Bryan's generous spirit to perform random acts of kindness.
