Funeral service for Calvin Lee Truss "Duke" , 57, will be on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where the Rev. Ronnie C. Beavers is pastor, officiating and the Rev. Frederick Durant, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Truss passed away on November 23, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Truss remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his services. Mr.Truss graduated from Anniston High School, then served in the United States Marine Corps and he retired from Custom Cupboard in 2008. Survivors include his wife, Antionette Truss, of Wichita, Kan.; daughter, Anjerolyn (Theodore) Green Daniels; grandchildren, Aaliyana Green and Alexxon Daniels, all of Wichita, Kan.; siblings, Roger (Felicia) Truss, of Wichita, Kan., Louis (Cathy) Truss and Shirley (Mike) Robinson, all of Anniston; stepmother, Mildred Truss, of Anniston; godchildren, Shaconne Mason, Terrance Roberson, Antwan Atata and Lavonne Alford; other relatives and friends.
