Carolyn Deese Obituary

Graveside funeral services for Carolyn Gail Deese, 67, of Anniston, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Grove Cemetery with the Rev. David Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-7 at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. Mrs. Deese died Friday at RMC. She is survived by her daughter, Shasta Brown and her husband, Kenny, of Alexandria; sons, Jeff Russell, of Alexandria, Doug Deese and his wife, Carol, of Birmingham; sisters, Geraldine Simpkins, of Cullman, Janice Hope and her, husband Winston, of Marietta, Ga.; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Brooks, of Saks; brother, Ronald Brooks, of Guntersville; her grandchildren, Dakota Brown, Allie Brown, Kenley Russell, Kameron Russell and Sara Burton. Mrs. Deese is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by her special friends at Casey Estates Senior Living. Mrs Deese was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Deese; son, Ricky Deese; her brothers, David and Donald Brooks; sister, Cindy Brooks and by her parents, Hen and Mable Brooks.
