Carroll Edwin Stedham, 95 of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018. Mr. Stedham was born October 02, 1922 and lived most of his life in Anniston, AL until his retirement. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was retired from the United States Postal Service after 37 years. Mr. Stedham loved to go fishing, travel with his wife, and loved telling his stories. He was a long time member of Warrington Baptist Church and a recent member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Stedham is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Elizabeth; his two brothers, Lynn and Gene Stedham; and sister, Audress Massey. Left to cherish his memory are his brother-in-law, Gene Mitchell and wife Gail; sister-in-law, Louise Stedham; many nieces and nephews; good friends, Carl Sightler (Shirl) and Larry Fordham (Diana); and all the new friends at Emerald Gardens Assisted Living Facility. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 01, 2018 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Rev. Ron Lentine, pastor at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church and Chaplain Jason Adams of Emerald Coast Hospice officiating. Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday. BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is entrusted with arrangements.
