Funeral service for Cathy Studdard, 54, will be Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Studdard passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at RMC in Anniston. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, David Studdard, of Piedmont; two sons, Joe Humphrey and Josh Humphrey (Britney), all of Piedmont; seven grandchildren, Jratyn Humphrey, Braylee Humphrey, Jameson Humphrey, Jaycee Humphrey, Ridge Humphrey, Rylan Wilson and Layton Wilson; parents, Bobby and Glenda Glover, of Piedmont; one sister, Susan Bragg (Duane) of Piedmont; one brother, Mike Glover, of Piedmont, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Humphrey, Josh Humphrey, Duane Bragg, Mike Glover, Scooter Franklin and Sam Ray. Mrs. Studdard was a native and life long resident of Piedmont and a 1980 graduate of Piedmont High School. She was formerly employed at Piedmont Executive, Camo and Garcy Corporation. She loved her family, enjoyed watching her boys play ball and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
