The funeral service for Mr. Cecil DeWayne Forlines, 80, of Anniston, will be at 2 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Reverend Michael Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Forlines passed away on January 1, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. Mr. Forlines lived most of his life in Alabama and had retired after many years with Alabama Power and later The Southern Company. He loved his University of Alabama football and NASCAR but most of all, he loved his family. Mr. Forlines is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil M. and Mattie Forlines, and his brothers, Buford Forlines and Bruce Forlines. Mr. Forlines is survived by his wife, Evelyn N. Forlines; his children, David Meadows and his wife, Linda; Gina Brooks and her husband, Kevin, Wayne Forlines and his wife, Rachel, Patsi Sawyer and her husband, Stan, and Chris Forlines; grandchildren, Amanda, Shannon, Michael, Ashley, Harrison, Gabriel, Stuart, Madison, Stephanie, Andrew, and Mike; great grandchildren, Kirsten, Callie, Allie, Chase, Raylee, Alexa, and Alijah; a niece, Eva Lynn Irvin; and a nephew, Byram Forlines.
