Funeral service for Charles A. Burnham, 81, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Brenton Harden officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Burnham passed away Saturday in Gadsden. Survivors include His son, Steve Burnham (Lisa); brother, Morris Burnham; grandchildren, Lori Weathington (Chris), Tiffany Weathington, Michael Burnham; great-grandchildren, Chance Weathington, Gabe Weathington, Heaven Burnham, J.T. Weathington, Katelyn Weathington, Kayla Weathington, Ace Weathington, Lilly Weathington, Elijah Weathington, Kole Weathington, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Burnham is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Burnham; parents, William and Vernie Burnham; brother, Curtis Burnham, and sister Shirley Key. Pallbearers will be Michael Burnham, Chance Weathington, Gabe Weathington, J.T. Weathington, Darin Burnham, Chris Weathington. Mr. Burnham was a longtime resident of Calhoun County. He retired from the Air Force E-8 after 20 years of service. He was a retired Methodist minister and a member of Bethel Methodist Church. He was an avid coin collector. Online condolences made at
