Funeral service for Mr. Charles "Bill" Rinehart, 88, will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Buddy Salsman and Winston Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time on Monday. Mr. Rinehart passed away on October 29, 2015 at RMC. He is survived by children, Sharon Williams (Doug), Charlene Stallings (Frank) and Margie Bates; grandchildren, Robby Williams (Erica), Jeremy Henderson, Stephanie Martin (Patrick), Brianna Bates and Dale Bates (Cindy); great-grandchildren, Kylie Williams, Lauren Martin, Macy Martin, Kourtney Bates, Jessica Gurley, Sara Gorum, Cooper Bates, Alayna Bates and Rebecca Bates; sister, Helen Argo and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Helen Rinehart; daughter, Deborah Rinehart; parents, Raleigh and Ida Mae Rinehart and five siblings. Pallbearers will be Robby Williams, Jeremy Henderson, Dale Bates, Justin Edwards, Steve Connell, Patrick Martin and Shannon Smothers. Mr. Rinehart retired from Anniston Army Depot as Chief Facilities Engineering. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy, was selected to participate in Birmingham Veteran Honor Flight in Washington, D.C. and was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God. Mr. Rinehart was hardworking, strong, loving and gentle. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to each family member. He showed strength and love right up until his last days. He was an honest and loyal man, loyal to his family and loyal to his friends. There are not words to express the influence he had in the lives of his family and friends.
