Funeral service for Charles R. Wills 79, will be on December 17, 2016, at noon at the Holy Hill Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ with Elder Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wills passed away December 8, 2016 at St. Vincent's East, Trussville. Mr. Wills's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. Mr. Wills retired from Riverside Clay Pit Foundry. Survivors include his stepson, Tarryton (Beverly) Wills; sister, Ruth Fomby; God children, Iris (Pastor Billy) Bedford, Kalvett Groce; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mattie Truss Wills; son, Jerome Truss; siblings, Annie Mae Curry, Hazel Suttle, Olivia Mitchell, Mable Posey, Eva White, Bernice Fomby, Channie Green, Leon Wills, Curtis Wills, Arthaniel Wills, Franklin Wills and special friend, Fannie Groce.
