Charles Thomas Hubbard , 63, of Oxford, passed away December 27, 2014. He was born on December 30, 1950 in Anniston, to Gerald D. and Ora Mae (Short) Hubbard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeArmanville. Charles was the owner and operator of Hubbard Pianos in downtown Oxford for over 40 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Oxford High School. Charles was a talented musician, an avid reader, and a former member of the Oxfordfest Committee and Downtown Merchants Association. Charles is survived by his brother, Ronald Hubbard; sisters-in-law, Patsy Hubbard and Charlotte Hubbard; nephew, Adam Hubbard; nieces, Emily Hubbard Craven and Sarah Hubbard Arthurs; five great nieces and nephews; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Ora Mae (Short) Hubbard; his brother, Joseph Hubbard; his nephew, Jarred Hubbard. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory on Dec. 30, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be at DeArmanville Methodist Church Cemetery on Dec. 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Hubbard, Al Butler, Larry Robertson, and Randy Robertson.
