Service for Charlie Will Yarbrough, 82, will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Gnatville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until time of service. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Clark, of Piedmont and Clara Charlene Roden, of Gadsden; one son, Daniel Yarbrough (Sherry Fair), of Cedar Bluff; two grandchildren, Andrew Holder and Dylan Holder, both of Piedmont; one sister, Louise Smith, of Lineville and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be lifelong friends. Mr. Yarbrough was a native of Randolph county and a graduate of Randolph County High School and Alabama Technical College. He served two years in the U.S.Army and retired after 43 years as a machinist at Gulf State Steel in Gadsden. He was a longtime resident of Cherokee County, was a member of the Chaper D Honda Goldwing Motorcycle Association, was a member and deacon at Pisgah Baptist Church in Gnatville and was a member of the Etowah County Cattleman's Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Kiser Yarbrough; his parents, Burl and Ola Yarbrough; two brothers, Otha and J.O. Yarbrough and one sister, Imogene Murphy.
