Funeral service for Charlotte "Grandma" Tillitt, 96, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with the Rev. W.H. Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Tillitt passed away Friday in Anniston. Survivors include her sons, Gregory Tillitt (Carol), Kie Tillitt, Robert Tillitt (Tanya); grandchildren, Susan Vaughn (Angelica), Mallory Hall (Stephen), Robert L. Tillitt, Seth Jones, Sydnie Hanson (Justen); great-grandchildren, Alexis Sanchez, Eloy Sanchez, Bethany Hanson, Avery Benito. Mrs. Tillitt is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Tillitt; daughter, Terri Tillitt; sister, Wanda Henderson, and brother, Buddy Rhea. Pallbearers will be Seth Jones, Justen Hanson, Buddy Barnhill, Dillion Jennings, Skyler Rayborn. Mrs. Tillitt was a native of Texas and a resident of Calhoun County since 1975. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Saks and United Methodist Women's. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Online Condolences at graybrownservice.com
