Funeral service for Reverend Clarence J. Brown, 66, will be on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church where the Rev. Judge Stringer Jr. is pastor, with the Rev. Joseph Brown, eulogist, and the Rev. Ricky Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow in Chulafinnee Cemetery. Rev. Brown passed away on Sept. 5, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Rev. Brown's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. He graduated from Cleburne County High School and attended Selma University with a major in Divinity. Rev. Brown was a pastor at New Aera Baptist Church for 17 years and was a retired transportation carrier. Survivors include his wife, Annie Brown; his children, Michelle Brown, Shannon Brown, Melissa Brown and Candiace Brown; seven grandchildren; siblings, Andrew G. Brown Jr. (Rosemary), Charlie M. Brown (Mary), Samuel R. Brown (Dorothy), Rickey J. Brown (Felicia), Evangelist Jeannette Freeman (Wallace), Evangelist Joann Farmer (Steve), Zelma B. Edney and Evangelist Maranda S. Alexander; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Andrew Chester Brown and Eva Mae Brown, and six siblings. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
